Public Defender Training

February 26-28, 2014 Guam  

This is the 2nd regional training for defenders organized by the Pacific Judicial Council.The training is designed to help attorneys who serve as public defenders build confidence inside and outside the courtroom. A plenary session on  the importance of having a viable defense theory to use in all criminal cases  will assist attorneys to improve their courtroom demeanor and presentations. Breakout sessions will focus on such topics as dealing preparing and litigating motions to suppress evidence, cross examination, and opening and closing statements.
