Juvenile Justice Conference

 

May 5-7, 2014

The Conference will provide judicial officers with training on risk/needs assessment, best practices and research, dangers of online cybercrime, cultural diversity and
adversity, adolescent brain development, evidence based treatment options,adolescent substance abuse, effective sentencing for minors, research/data for policy
making, family crisis intervention strategies, and ethics and the juvenile justice system.The program will also have a mental health component relating to juveniles.
